Opera House To-night.
This evening Mr Geo. Stepenson's specially organisod company of entertainers will commence a two nights' season at the Opera House. The event has been looked forward to with considerable interest for somo time past, owing to the combination being one of .a unique and novel character, claiming to present a programme of many attractions out of the common. Chief amongst these is "The Magic Kettle," an act first introduced to the London public at tho Palace Theatre by Professor Andrews. It is one of great spectacular interest, and is claimed to be both entertaining and bid using, in ad dition to bdng highly instructive. Con tribnting to the programme are also a number of new artists of English and Australian reputation, notably the Pierrots, Messrs Will and Rob Thomas, Miss Elsa Dwyer, the Australian soprano ; Alma, the Court magician; the Trinity Boys' choir, under Mr J. N. Gehda; Miss Elsie B. Peerless, lyrio artist; Mr F. H. Stokes, and others.
