At the sales to date, 122,339 bales have been catalogued and 110,895 sold. Yesterday Avas a spirited sale, prices being unchanged with a little irregularity and some withdrawals. Best merino clips sold included—Teapid 7-„-, Moxotaria 7^d, Burnside lO.^d, West End lO^d, Otago 7^l.
Sheep—Canterbury, light, 4d; medium, od; heavy, 5-fd; Dunedin and Southland, <_-!}d; North Island, 4£d. Lambs —Canterbury, light and heavy, 6d; Dunedin and Southland, none offering; North Island, new seasons, 6bd. New Zealand beef, 180 to 2201b5, fair average quality, ox fores, 3|d; hinds, 4!fd. River Plate sheep, heavy and light, both 4 3-16 d; lambs, s£d; beef, fores, 3 3-16 d ; hinds, 3| d.
