IRANIAN AZERBAIJAN
(Bee. 12.5 p.m.) MOSCOW, Dec. 27. A Tass Agency dispatch from Teheran states that the new Government of Iranian Azerbaijan has introduced legislation in the National Assembly granting an amnesty to political prisoners sentenced to one year's imprisonment, halving the sentences of over one year, and reducing life sentences to 15 years.
