FEILDING

Mrs R. Carter, of “Rosehill”. Sandon Road, is now improving in health and hopes to return home from convalescence shortly. The Salvation' Army’s thanksgiving services were well attended. Those taking part included Messrs H. J. Dcwc, G. Alderson, R. Trcmain, Mrs AY. Johnson and Major Edith Christopher. A solo was sung by S. Harford. Mr John Stringer, whose death occurred today, was for many years borough foreman. He was well-known in the town and did excellent work recently in connection with the waste materials depot, at which he worked on a voluntary basis.
