REPRESENTATIVE RUGBY
The representative Rugby match at the Showgrounds tomorrow between Taranaki and Manawatu should produce come spectacular football. The Manawatu team has a fine three-quarter lino, and the pack, led by Todd, of Air Force, has the men in it to turn on a splendid game. In all departments the Manawatu team is an improved one, compared with that which faced Hawke’s Bay, and tomorrow’s side is very close to that which met Wellington at the beginning of the representative fixtures. Palmerston North patrons of the game will be especially interested in the inclusion of Novak in the Taranaki side. This player will he remembered as one of the five-eighths in the Taranaki regimental team when there were a number of military units stationed in this district. Mount Albert Grammar School, 'Auckland, heat Te Ante College, 14—8, at Waipawa.
