In tho national war financing effort National War Savings are to-day of oven greater importance than before because the money in circulation now is greater than ever in relation to the quanlity of consumer {pods available, states the district organiser. The place of National Savings as a corrective against the evils of inflation was never higher. People should deposit all their surplus cash, ineluding overtime, in tho National Savings accounts and reap the benefit of the 3 per cent, interest. All amounts deposited by June 30 this year will be repayable on June 30, 1946. The city has maintained its weekly quota during the holiday pciiod and in order to celebrate it 6 42nd consecutive success £925 is required by noon on Saturday.
