AIRMAN’S DEATH

The friends of Mr and Mrs R. J. Miller, of Kimbolton. will regret to learn of the news of the death of their eldest son, Pilot-Officer .Brian Miller. From news received by cable by the bereaved parents, it appears that their son met his death in an aircraft accident in England on Friday last. The late Pilot-Officer Miller, who was 20 years of age, was a member of the staff of the Union Bank of Australia in Feilding, having joined the bank’s service in. Auckland. He was a very popular youth during the few years lie had been in Feilding. He proceeded to Canada to complete his training after being stationed at Ohakea. Only comparatively recently he obtained his commission in the R.A.F. and recent advices reported that he was making excellent progress. Pilot-Officer Miller’s father is a returned soldier of the Great "War and much sympathy has been extended to him and Mrs Miller and family in their very distressing bereavement.
