OROUA DOWNS INSTITUTE
At the monthly meeting ol the Oroua Downs Women’s Institute, Mrs Alurchant presided. A presentation of a hat box was made to Airs Hobbs, who is leaving (lie district, and Aliss Carmichael, who is shortly to he married, 'received a cup and saucer and elate. A most instructive talk on Iraq was given by Aliss Francis arid Mrs Itaikes entertained members with a talk on her trip to Milford Sound. Competitions resulted : Bloom, Airs Scott 1, Airs Alarsden 2, Mrs Dench 3: scarf. Airs Bird 1 ; assortment of three vegetables, Airs Doncli.
