Lind being at tho organ. Mr D. Hewlett gave an address on “Gardens”: it was specially suited to an audience of youth. Our first parents, lie stated, wore placed hy God in a beautiful garden, and tho speaker closed the subject with an appeal to his hearers to make their hearts gardens in which the plants of love, joy and pence would flourish and grow. In addition to company songs and choruses, the following children took part: Patricia Campbell, Betty Churchill, Avis and Beryl Lind, Margaret Hockly, Rhoda Pedley, Audrey Nutt and Ruth Rowe. Mr N. Further evidence of the mildness of the season so far —twin lambs were born on the Clavey Estate last week. Once again the opportunity is afforded residents of Rongotea and district to join in a farewell function to several young men, most of whom have spent their lives here. A concert and dance will be hold in honour of Privates H. Burgess, F. Connelly, J. IT. Gibbons, S., Ilodge, R. Saxton, IT. Dnkcr and K. Thompson.
