STRONG ATTACK
NAVY AT BENGHAZI. (United Press Association—Copyright) (British Official "Wireless.) (Rec. 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, May 12. An Admiralty communique states: During Saturday night powerful units of our light forces carried out an intense bombardment of Benghazi from point-blank range. Damage was caused to shipping and military objectives. The fire from the enemy shore batterier was ineffective, as were also repeated attacks by enemy dive-bombers. No casualties or damage wero sustained by any of His Majesty’s ships.
