PERSECUTION IN POLAND
TORONTO, April 28. The German persecution of Poles hag broken out anew, said the Polish Premier (General Sikorski). He latelv bad very gad news from Poland of more Poles being executed, and more being sent to concentration camps. General Silforski described the events in the Balkans as important, but not all-important “Mastery of the Mediterranean will be a matter of much more weight, and the result of the Battle of the Atlantic will be a decisive element in the war,” he said.
