FOREIGN MINISTER’S VISIT. (9.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, March 24. The Netherlands Foreign Minister (Mr E. N. Van Kleffens), who is at present here en route to Batavia, said lie hopes to visit Australia on the same trip and then return to London by the Australia-United States airline. Mr van Kleffens will leave here tomorrow for Batavia, where, he said, he expects to spend three weeks discussing colonial and international problems. He is the first Foreign Minister ever to visit the Netherlands East Indies, and it is believed his visit to Australia will be the first time a Netherlands Foreign Minister has visited there.
