Japanese-Argentine Trade. The Foreign Office spokesman (Mr Y. Suma) has confirmed the JapaneseArgentine barter “agreement of views” reached on March 15. Japan is to buy annually 30,000.000 yon worth of Argentine products, including wool, meat, casein and wheat, while the Argentine will buy the same value of Japanese goods, granting foreign exchange at a rate on the most favoured basis. Japanese Whalers. Nine Japanese whaler, entered Sydney Harbour on Tuesday on their return from the Antarctic, where they chased and Harpooned 1300 whales during the summer. The mother factory ship remained outside the heads. The chasers came for fuel oil sufficient to take them non-stop to Japan. Little Rain in N.S.W.
