f (From Our Own Correspondent). FOXTON. July 29. At the annual meeting of the Foxton Bowling Club, Air W. Trueman presided. A motion of sympathy was accorded Mr f .T. McKnight in the death of his wife. The president commented on the satisfactory financial position. Eight resignations wore accepted. ’lhe election resulted: President. Mr F. Woods; vice-president. All' J. Grant: secretary and treasurer. Air D. Christie: sole selector. Air W. Trueman: green cuperintendent, Air J. Newth: auditor. Mr E. W. Huntley: committee, Aless'vs J. AlcTvnight. R. Haydock, V. H. Read, G. Walls and R. Hcppncr; delegate to centre, Air D. Christie.
