V. AND T. SHIELD. WANGANUI AND PALSIERSION. The Wanganui P. and 'I . junior Rugby team which visited Palmerston North yesterday to play the return match ior the P. and T. Junior Shield, were beaten by Palmerston North hy 9 points to G. As the first match had been won by Wanganui the two teams will hold the trophy for six months each. The shield was handed over by Mr P. Patterson. telegraph delivery supervisor at Palmerston North, to M. Daley, captain of the Wanganui team.
