NOTES.
At the 10th anniversary of the Feilding llome League, celebrated on Thursday evening, members of the Palmerston North branch, including Mrs Bell (secretary), were present.
The birthday cake was made by Mrs Trass and iced by Mrs Hesketh, while the visitors were entertained by Messrs Hickmott and Hariord. Mesdames Sykes and Penketh, of Palmerston North, contributed to the programme. Arrangements tor the celebrations were made by the local secretary, Mrs 1 renin inc.
Rev. A. L. Dixon presided over a meeting of the Fciluing Band ol Hope on Thursday evening, when there was a good attendance, and Airs Spence gave helpful advice to young people present. Items were rendered by Marion Ware, Helen Dixon, Jean Thompson. Pam Wilton, Margaret Dixon, Nola Tremaine, and Ruth Brown.
A meeting of chairmen n.nd secretaries of the Feilding and district calf pools was held in Feilding yesterday afternoon, Mr H. V. Benge, Aorangi, presiding. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss various organisation details. Mr C. S. Stuhlrs representing agents handling pool products was also present. Miss Dorothy Adams, who trained and taught for the Women’s League of Health in Sydney, is giving a lecture to he followed by a demonstration of the famous Bagot Stack health exercises Wednesday evening in tho Parish Hall, Feilding.
