Aliss B. Halpin, of AVoodville, who is on the nursing staff of the Dannevirke Hospital, is on her annual leave, and intends spending it ip Auckland and Dargaville. Air and Airs J. AA 7 . Bibby, who have been residents of the district for some years and are now about to take up their abode at Lower Hutt, were farewelled by the management committee of a local firm, several other intimate friends also being present. On their behalf Air R. C. Leach made presentations to Air and Airs Bibby, voicing the high esteem in which they are held, and also referring to the services they had rendered during their stay in AA’oodvillo. A’arious games and competitions took place, the winners being Airs D. Mclvinlav and Airs R. L. .Tones. Afessrs L. C. Hurley, T. Smith and R. Dodds. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr and Airs AA’. D. Beagiev. Oxford Road, for placing their home at the disposal of the gathering.
