1 The Palmerston North Business ami Professional Women’s Round Table Club held a ten. meeting last evening. Miss I. Madden presided, and commended the efforts of Misses AI. and EJones in preparing the meal. I Miss Ethel Law, national general

secretary of the Y.AA’.C.A., wrote regarding the constitution for round table clubs adopted at the Easter conference, and expressing regret that Palmerston North had not been represented. Aliss Toulson, the Dominion president, solicited nominations to the executive. It was decided to nominate Misses Aladden and E. Jones provision-, ally. *Mr R. H. Billons spoke on tho international situation and was thanked by Aliss Bird.
