SEIZURES DURING RAIDS. (Independent Cable Service.) Received January 26", 10.40 a.m. SINGAPORE, Jan. 25. The police are still examining the documents seized during the last week’s raids on Japanese hotels and business premises. There have been no arrests yet and it is understood that none is likely to be made. .Special police cordoned and raided Japanese hotels, the Industrial Bureau, and the Chamber of Commerce in Singapore on January 20 and seized documents. Papers belonging to three Japanese employed by the South Manchuria Railway, who arrived recently following a tour of Indo-Cliina, Burma and Siam, were also seized. The Japanese were allowed to leave Singapore for Japan after questioning.
