MOTOR COLLISION.

A collision occurred on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Vogel and Ferguson Streets, between cars driven by Messrs H. Collins and F. Pallesen. The latter was proceeding from Hopelands to Palmerston North and the car contained his sister-in-law (Mrs N. Pallesen) of that city, and her three children, whilst Mr Collins emerged on to the main highway from the corner of Ferguson Street. Both cars were damaged, Mr Collins’s being a lighter vehicle faring the worst. There were all the elements ; of a narrow escape from a serious accident. Mr Pallesen requisitioned another car, and subsequently resumed the journey to Palmerston North.
