FORTY-HOUR WEEK. N.S.W. PARTY FRICTION. SYDNEY, Feb. 26. The main points of the industrialist policy announced by Mr R. Heffron, M.L.A., who has been elected in opposition to Mr J. T. Lang, include the introduction of a 40-hour week, the abolition of the State wages tax, slam abolition and the institution of a real State housing programme. The industrialist section has decided to contest nine seats in opposition to Mr Lang’s Labour candidates.
