FALL OF TERUEL.

HEAVY FIGHTING. Received December 22. 12.20 p.m. BARCELONA, Dec. 21. It is officially announced that Teruel has fallen. Nevertheless, a broadcast from San Sebastian declares that the rebels have captured an important series of. heights on a vital highway, causing casualties of 60 per cent, of the Loyalists in the latter’s five offensives which engaged 70.000 men. Madrid reports that the Loyalists simultaneously attacked on four sides, capturing houses and surrounding the civil guard barracks, smashing the defences protecting the River Turia and the railway, also penetrating the city from the Seguno-Teruel Road.
