FARMER’S. DEATH.

Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Aug. 27. Robert Leggett Dickson, married, aged 48, a farmer, of Scott’s Gap, was found shot this afternoon with a double-barrelled shotgun alongside him. Evidently he had been out shooting when the accident occurred. He was wearing guinboots and on a bank above where the body was, there were two marks such as would have been caused by his slipping. In doing so, the gun must have been accidentally discharged.
