THIRD PARTY INSURANCE.
ADOPTION IN VICTORIA
MELBOURNE, June 4
The New Zealand third party insurance legislation is being adopted in a Bill to be introduced in the Victoriarf Parliament in July. The Chief Secretary (Mr Bailey), who investigated the position ill New Zealand recently, strongly recommended the New Zealand system. It is not likely that the insurance companies will agree to the low New Zealand premium; it is likely to be about £3 IDs. Motoring organisations strongly support the plan.
