A report that President Roosevelt has abandoned liis proposals for Supreme Court reorganisation during the present session owing to opposition and the recent favourable decisions, is denied. hollowing a conference last night at the White House, Senator J. T. Robinson stated that the President had not abandoned his Supreme Court revision plan. He would press for its passage during the present session of Congress in a modified form. A battle on the floor of the Senate, lasting possibly for months, is expected to be fought over the Judiciary Reforms Bill. Opponents of the measure assert that with the resignation of the aged Justice Van Devanter, there is no, further excuse for reforming the Supreme Court.
