PERSONAL.
Mrs M. M. Thevenard leaves on Thursday oil a holiday visit to Milford Sound. The secretary of the local Federation of Women’s Institutes sent a congratulatory telegram to Miss Jerome Spencer on her having received a decoration from the King. Miss Spencer established the Women’s Institute movement in New Zealand. Miss Jessie Towler is a Feilding visitor to New Plymouth, and is the guest of Mr and Mrs S. Packer.
