METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL.
CONCERT AND SALE OF WORK. The annual missionary concert and sale of work in connection with the ' Methodist Sunday School was held in the Parish Hall last evening. Rev. J. H. Allen presided. The stalls were conducted by the following:—Cake and sweets, junior Bible class girls and Classes 1 and 2; flowers, primary department, Class ii girls; produce, boys’ Sunday school land junior Bible class. I The concert programme was as folI lows :—lntermediate Bible class, action song, “Cruise of H.M.S. Cosmopolitan” ; junior boys’ Sunday school, song, “Topsy Turvy” ; Hugh Funnel!, recitation ; Sunday school girls, song, “Days of the Week”; Jean McPhail, songs, “Mv Golliwog” and “It Makes You Think” ; junior Bible class girls, sword danco and folk dance; Phyllis Hunt, recitation ; Sunday school girls, orderly song; recitation duo, Patricia Carrick and Jean McPhail; play, “Michael” (taken from Tolstoi’s book, 'What Men Live Bv”), the characters being: Michael, Marjory Taylor; Russian Peasant, Loraino Goldsmith; Russian Peasant's "Wife, Molly Lean; Nob. email, Francis Tutty; Nobleman’s Servant, Margaret Tutty; Woman, ])< rothy Taylor; Twins, Phyllis Hunt and Patricia Carrick; Aniuska, a Russian peasant girl, Ray Lean. During the interval, Sunday school classes presented t.i tne .. ipc uitc r.dent, Mr C. E. Taylor, their special missionary offering boxes, the moneys in these having boon co'k-ofod hv the pupils each Sunday during the year.
