PERSONAL.
Miss Kathleen Salter, of AA'ellington, has been visiting her lather, Mr H. Salter, of East Street, Feilding. Mrs J. McGuigan, of Feilding, is at present in New Plymouth. Miss Betty .Richardson is a Wanganui visitor to Eeilding, and :s staying with Mrs W. J. Booth, of Kimbolton Road. Mrs M. D. Colquhoun. of “To Rakehou,” Haleombe Road, is visiting Wellington. Miss Betty Green, daughter of Mr and IMrs W. Green, of South Street, has passed her fifth examination under the auspices of the Royal Academy of Dancing, the examiner being Miss Lorraine Norton, of London. She is a | pupil of Miss Gwen Gibbs. Mr and Mrs H. G. Frocklington, of Feilding, left on Tuesday from Wellington by the Mamma for Australia, where they will spend some weeks in visiting Melbourne, Sydney and the Blue -Mountains. Miss B Wilson, of the South Island, is visiting her cousin, .Mrs A. McCorkindalc, before proceeding to CamMiss M. Hall, of Feilding, is the guest of Miss L. Penn, of Stratford, for a few days. The secretary of the Feilding and District Acclimatisation Society states that the late Mr F. H. Stockwoll was president of the society in Feilding for 22 years. His influence will be greatly missed. Mr R. AY. Bickers has resumed his normal activities following his recent illness.
