FEILDING SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report excellent yardings in all sections at the spring cattle fair at Fcilding. A large yarding of well over 3000 head of station cattle was submitted to a large attendance from a wide area, our portion of the yarding being 800 head. We report a hundred per cent, clearance at values well up to other spring fairs. The yarding was comprised practically of 1,2 and 3-year steers, with just odd pens of grown bullocks and an odd pen of yearlings and 2-year P.A. heifers. These also attracted keen attention. A good yarding of store sheep, comprised of ewe and wether hoggets, also sold freely, as did all fat sheep. Beef and dairy cattle sold at well up to late rates. Our total yarding and realisations of run bred cattlo were as below: —Grown bullocks, account Mr F. W. Aetbury, £8 19s; P.A. bullocks, good forward condition, £10; 3-yr P.A. steers, account Mr R. E. Shannon, £8 10s; 2-yr P.A. steers, account Mr R. E. Meech, £7 10s to £7 18s; 2 and 3-yr S.H. steers, account Messrs Shannon Bros., £8 ss; 2-yr P.A. heifers, account Mesdamcs K. and M. Shannon, £7 18s; 1-yr P.A. heifers, account Mr R. E. Mcech, £4 18s to £5 14s 6d; yearling P.A. steers, account Barber Estate, Himatangi, £6 4s, £6 17s 6d, £7; yearling P.A. stoers, account Mr R. E. Meech, £6 ss; yearling P.A. eteers, account Mr A. A. Hobson, £7 2s; yearling P.A. heifers, account Mr A. A. Hobson, £5 18s; weaner Jersey heifers, £3 ss, £3 iOs, £3 15s to £4. Sheep: Wether hoggets, 21s, 22s 3d, 22s 6d, 235, 24s to 25s 6d; owe hoggets, 28s, 29s 6d, 30s 31s, 33s to 355; fat ewes, 28s, 295, 29s 6d ’ 30s, 31s to 32s 6d; fat hoggets, 255, 26s 6d[ 27s 6d to 28s.
