THE STOCK MARKET.

FEILDING SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report excellent yardings in all sections at the spring cattle fair at Fcilding. A large yarding of well over 3000 head of station cattle was submitted to a large attendance from a wide area, our portion of the yarding being 800 head. We report a hundred per cent, clearance at values well up to other spring fairs. The yarding was comprised practically of 1,2 and 3-year steers, with just odd pens of grown bullocks and an odd pen of yearlings and 2-year P.A. heifers. These also attracted keen attention. A good yarding of store sheep, comprised of ewe and wether hoggets, also sold freely, as did all fat sheep. Beef and dairy cattle sold at well up to late rates. Our total yarding and realisations of run bred cattlo were as below: —Grown bullocks, account Mr F. W. Aetbury, £8 19s; P.A. bullocks, good forward condition, £10; 3-yr P.A. steers, account Mr R. E.
