MARKET FLUCTUATES. BUTTER EASIER; CHEESE QUIET. After an active demand during tlie early part of last week, when Now Zealand finest salted butter advanced to 105 s, tho London butter market quietened, and closed easier at 103 s to 104 s. Retail prices remain unchanged at Is 2d a lb for Now Zealand, and Is 3d for Danish. Deliveries of New Zealand butter last week totalled 2670 tons, compared with 1983 tons for tho previous week, and 1904 tons a year ago. Australian deliveries were 795 tons, against 730 tons a year ago. It is reported from London that 17,000 casks of Continental butter were bought for Now York last week on a basis of Dutch butter at 80s f.o.b. The Imperial Economic Committee's estimated stocks of all butters ■ in store is 1,011,455 boxes, compared with 831,116 boxes a year ago. New Zealand butter in store now totals 5274 tons, including 1753 tons ex the Fordsdale and Matakana, compared with 5093 tons for tho previous week, and 4502 tons a year ago. Australian stored butter amounts to 785 tons, against 737 tons a year ago. Tho cheese market is also quieter, with an easing tendency. Deliveries of New Zealand cheese totalled 22,122 crates, compared with 15,735 crates a year ago, while tho quantity in store 13 now only 47,168 crates, against 82,710 crates a year ago. Canadian deliveries wore 10,139 boxes, against 7194 boxes a year ago, the quantity in store being 78,236 boxes, compared with 124,657 boxes a year ago.
