WHEAT CROP.

Per Press Association

1 CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 4. Less than five per cent, of the Dominion’s total wheat crop has still to be disposed of by the growers, according to figures supplied by the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Hon. D. G. Sullivan). This five per cent, amounted to about 600,000 bushels. Of this total probably half is in the growers’ hands, the balance being held by merchants.
