TRAGIC DISCOVERY.

OLD MAN’S DEATH. Police headquarters at Palmerston North have received advice that Mr Thomas Aitken, aged 73, was found dead in his bed yesterday at the residence of his sister-in-law, Mrs Smith, of Tiraumea, near Eketahuna. Deceased recently came north from Dunedin, where he had been staying with his daughter, Mrs Stevens. It is not yet known if an inquest will be necessary.
