DIESEL ENGINES.

CITY COUNCIL INSPECTION

Tho Mayor (Air A. li. Alanslord) and several members of tho Palmerston North City Council paid an official visit to the municipal electrical power station at Terrace End to-day. The party consisted of the Alayor (Air A. E. Alansford), Crs. R. L. C. Aitchinson, A. A. Langley, \V. 13. Cameron, W. Alouldey and W. B. Tennent and Air J. R. Hardie (town clerk). The party were escorted by Air J. W. Muir (electrical engineer), who explained the workings of the two new jpiesel engines now in operation. Aluch interest was taken in all that was seen.
