MARION, July 18. The annual meeting of members of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church was held on Thursday evening, ltev. Mr Watt presiding. The reports showed that the finances were in a healthy position. All the church organisations reported that good work was being done. The four retiring managers were re-elected (Messrs G. Hunter, J. Bissett, F. L. Nicol and W. H. Brown). Three new members were appointed Mr Robertson and Mesdames L. McIndoe and Davison. Miss Alison Grummitt, of Marton, is the guest of Mrs Lane, of Rewa. Mr and Mrs W. Fenton and family, oi Ohingaiti. have left to reside ill Marton. The friends of Mr A. H. Meyer, Mt. View, will be pleased to hear that lie is now out of danger, following a serious operation in a private hospital in Auckland.
