Yarns are firm. At the wool sales 7255 bales were offered, including 2523 from New Zealand, and 6473 were sold. There was a keen demand for tho fine selection, which sold well at fully current rates. New Zealand scoured halfbred, branded Lily dale, reached 21 id and averaged 181 d.
