ALTERATION OF NOTES
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 14
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand .hits received advice from Sydney to the effect that an attempt has been made there to pass a Reserve Bank 10s note which had been altered to £lO, and the public are warned ■to be on their guard against any attempt to pass a similarly altered note here. The Reserve Bank has not issued any £lO UGtcs, its denominations being 10s, £] , £5. and £SO.
