INQUEST ADJOURNED. ~ Received January 18, 9.15 a.m. ALEXANDRIA, Jan. 17. The City of Khartoum inquest has been adjourned until the arrival of Captain Travers, who is at present piloting a ’plane from India and whose evidence is regarded as essential. SALVAGED MAIL. PORTION DELIVERED. Received January 18, 10.55 a.m. Sidney, Jan. 18. Two thousand of the five thousand ai-r mail letters and packets salvaged from the City of Khartoum were enclosed in speeiai envelopes and wrappers and readdressed at the Sydney General Post Office. Of these about 1500 were delivered in Sydney and the rest were despatched to various parts of the State and New Zealand. The Monowai carried portion of the New Zealand mail.
