LAWN TENNIS.

PALMERSTON v. THE REST. The ladies’ tennis match, Palmerston North Club versus The Rest, will be played at the Takaro courts on Saturday, play to be entered upon at 1.30 p.m. The following team has been selected to represent the Linton Street Club:—Misses Astle, Carty, C. Wilson, Pain, Mcßae, Barnett, Mrs Allen, Misses Lindsay, Smillie and Hancock. The following will represent “The Rest”:—Miss Elliott (Feilding), Mrs Thomson, Airs Adams, Miss Kerr (Levin), Mrs Campbell (Manawatu), Mrs Lennon (St. Patrick’s), Airs Godfrey (Longburn), Miss B. Smith (Woodville), and either Mrs C. N. Smith or Miss Horn (Northern).
