AID TO FARMERS.
THE SUBSIDY PLAN. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Nov. 21. Referring to the Unemployment Board subsidies for farm buildings and equipment, and the board’s scheme for the stimulation of local industry, the Commissioner of Unemployment advises that this arrangement is an extension of the scheme covering the dairy industry, but applying also to the farming industry generally in so far as the erection of approved buildings and the purchase of implements and machinery of Now Zealand manufacture are concerned.
