HOSPITALS IN LONDON.
GIFTS AND SERVICE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Nov. 18. According to figures compiled by the King Edward’s Hospital Fund, London voluntary hospitals treated 2,139,000 sick and injured in 1934, of which 269,000 were in-patients. The expenditure involved amounted to nearly £4,000,000. Voluntary gifts to the funds of hospitals in 1934 totalled £2,613,000.
