HAMILTON. Nov. 19. Suppliers of finest quality butterfat for buttermaking during October will be paid lid per lb by the New Zealand Co-opera-tive Dairy Coy., Ltd., this week. A similar payment will be made respecting first-grade butterfat for cheese manufacture. In October, 1934, disbursements wore for butter and 9d for cheese, and last month Is for butter and cheese respectively.

THIS SEASON’S SHIPMENTS.

Shipments of dairy produce last month were 14,537 tons, compared with 12,579 tons for October, 1934, an increase of 1958 tons. For the first three months of the current season to October 31 shipments show an increase of 5461 tons, the details being shown in the following comparative statement : Three months to Oct. 31,

Of the butter shipped last month to tho United Kingdom, 83 per cent, was consigned and 17 per cent, sold f.0.b., compared with 99.72 per cent, consigned and .23 per cent, sold f.o.b. in October, 1934. Shipments of butter from Australia to the United Kingdom last, month wore 10,804 tons, compared with 11,882 tons for October, 1934, a decrease of 1078 tons. For the three months ended October 31, shipments were 17,952 tons, compared with 21,183 tons for the corresponding quarter of last year, a decreasp of 3236 tons. Shipments of cheeso from New Zealand last month wore 6689 tons, compared with 6191 tons for October, 1934, an increase of 498 tons. For file three months ended October 31, however, total shipments at 15,648 tons show a decrease of 258 tons compared with those for the corresponding period of last year as is seen in the following table : Three months to Oct. 31,

Of tho cheese shipped last month, 87 per cent.' was consigned and 13 per cent, sold f.0.b., as against 100 per cent, consigned in October, 1934. Shipments of cheese from Australia to the United Kingdom for tho three months wore 1387 tons, compared with 1931 tons for the corresponding period of last year.
