SYDNEY WOOL SALES.
MARKET REMAINS FIRM. SYDNEY, Nov. 19. At the wool sales, 12,640 bales were offerered, 12,044 being sold at auction and 1998 privately. The market was fully firm under strong competition from the Continent, Japan and Yorkshire. A special feature was the demand for all well-grown descriptions. Greasy Merino sold .to 26£d, equalling the Sydney record for the season.
