FROZEN MEAT TRADE.

The Now Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Dist. Coy., Ltd., have received the following advice from London :—Lamb, better demand; prices have cased id. SHIPiMENTS DURING OCTOBER. Shipments of frozen meat during October, the first month of the 1935-36 season, show decreases in lamb, pork and beef, and a large increase in mutton, compared with those for October, 1934. Details of last month’s shipments are given in the following t'aulo, the totals for October, 1934, being shown for comparative purposes:—• Frozen

Tho Meat Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Australia, South America, and South Africa to the United Kingdom during October were as follows: — Australia: 27,474 carcases mutton, 605,120 carcases lamb, 51,181 quarters beef (frozen), 11,102 quarters beef (chilled). South America: 6325 carcases mutton, 371,385 carcases lamb, 1661 quarters beef (frozen), 443,669 quarters beef (chilled). South Africa: 9846 quarters (beef (chilled).
