FINAL TRIBUTES
LATE MR C. E. DEAIPSY. The funeral of the late Mr C. 12. De-mpsy took place at the Palmerston North cemetery yesterday afternoon, when numerous business associates and friends from far afield were present to pay their final respects. The universal esteem in which lie was held was shown hy the many beautiful floral emblems forwarded. Canon G. A . Woodward conducted the service at the graveside, this being followed by the ritual of the Alasonic Lodge and the Loyal Alanawatu Lodge of Oddfellows. The pall-bearers were Alessrs W. L Eitzheroert, F. Litchfield, J. M. Gordon, L. J. E. Shortt, F. J. Oakley and Colonel J. H. Whyte. Wreaths were forwarded hv the Directors of the Manawatu Permanent Building and Investment Society, the Now Zealand Society of Accountants (Manawatu branch), Proprietary and Staff Manawatu Standard, Ltd., Riverbank Dairy Company, Loyal Manawatu Lodge, Palmerston North Co-op-erative Building Society, Levin Dairy Company, Awahuri Dairy Company. Manawatu and District Justices of the Peace Association, Manawatu Club, New Zealand Insurance Company, Messrs Collinson and Cunninghame, Ltd., Manawatu Miils, as well as a large number from personal friends.
