EKETAHUNA.

15KETAHUNA, Sept. 11. Tho home of the bride’s parents at Putara was the scene of a very pretty wedding, this morning, when Mavis, fifth daughter of Air and Airs C. W. Gunderson, was married to Norman Henry, second son of Air and Airs J. H. Billington, of Alastcrton, Rev. H. Benny, of Eketahuna, officiating. The bride wore a smart tailored nigger brown costume with beige crcpo-dc-ct>inc blouse, beige hat and brown shoes to match, and carried a beautiful bouquet of narcissi, freesias, yellow primroses and maidenhair fern. She was attended by her sister, Mrs C. D. Devonport, as matron of honour, wearing a dove-grey frock with crimson trimmings and a felt hat to match. Her bouquet was composed of crimson anemones and maidenhair fern. Air F. Billington, brother of tlie bridegroom, was best man. At the wedding breakfast following tho ceremony, Air and Airs Gunderson entertained forty guests, when the usual toasts were honoured. Later, when the happv couple left on their honeymoon, the bride was a earing a black cloth coat with light fur collar and hat to lone. Tho beautiful bouquets were tho work of Aliss Betty Curry and tho gift of Airs Curry, of Eketahuna. Air and Mrs N. 11. Billington’s future home will be in Grcytown.
