PERSONAL.
The Waituna West district lost one of its well-known settlers yesterday by the death at the Palmerston North Hospital of Mr Henry P. Clare. He was one of the early settlers of the district, his home being at Stormy Point, from which vantage point a splendid panorama of the rugged Upper Rangitikei district was to l>e obtained. The sympathy of their many friends will go out to Mrs Clare and her relatives in their bereavement. Mr and Mrs D. ,C. Cullinane, of Feilding, spent the week-end at Paekakariki.
