H. Williams, annexed the title, beating L. A. Reid (Waipukurau) at the 17th green. A large number of spectators followed the the championship finalists, who played excellent golf, The additional results are as follow: SOUTHERN HAWKE’S BAY CHAMPIONSHIP. Semi-finals. —O. H. Williams (Manawatu) beat W. E. Knight (Dannevirke) 2 anti 1; L. A. Reid (Waipukurau) beat T. Hanita (Takapau) 2 and 1. . Final.—Williams beat Reid, 2 and 1. DANNEVIRKE HANDICAP. Semi-finals.—ll. M. Tatere (Dannevirke) beat R. Comerford (Sliandon); J. Cooper (Dannevirke) beat G. M. McCaskill at the 21st. Final.—Tatere beat Cooper. Tatere has now won this event for three successive years.
