WEST END TENNIS CLUB.
A SUCCESSFUL DANCE. With the nature of the evening more conducive to dancing, there was an attendance of some 60 couples at the dance held in the West End School by the Tennis Club on Tuesday, when a pleasant time was spent. Mr L. Hogg carried out the duties of AI.C. A Alonte Carlo dance was won by Air R. Barrett and Aliss AV a river, while a second prize was also awarded. A professional orchestra delighted the patrons witli tlieir old-time dance numbers, while the splendid supper arrangements were under the supervision of Airs A. N. Beattie. As a result of the effort the funds of the dub will benefit to an appreciable extent.
