HIGHWAY TRAGEDY.
MAORI BOY’S DEATH. Per Press Association. LEVIN. Jan. 17. As the result of a collision with a car driven by (Mr J. G. Etheridge, of Napier, last evening on the LevinFoxton main highway, five miles from Levin, a Maori farmhand, Tiwheta Winiata, aged 15, the son of wellknown residents of this district, received a fractured skull, succumbing to his injuries within a few minutes. Deceased was walking along the road and the accident happened when th* car was passing another.
