SEVERE INJURIES.
ACCIDENT AT HOKIO BEACH. Per Press Association. LEVIN, Jan. 17. Severe injuries were received last evening at the Hokio beach by a Maori girl, Agnes McDonald, aged 12. I\ lieu bathing in the stream she jumped from the footbridge, landing on a manuka stake, which penetrated her body. She was removed to hospital.
